CIP Tafalla - 8M

Last Wednesday March 8 was International Women's Day. The CIP Tafalla equality commission organized a joint activity. We watched this video "women who inspire the world" with our students:   After reflection and debate, the students carried out an activity in which they had to select among the women who inspire them one who stands out for her courage, her position in front of the world, her art or her talent: referents of each VET specialty, the heroines of the cinema, the classics of literature, the muses of the urban legend, etc.  Once chosen, they made a summary of their most important contributions, printed it out and placed it on the mural on the hall window, where the 8M logo was placed.

8 M International Women's Day Students of 1 Baccalaureate followed the proposal of the English teacher Noelia Pinadero and changed the role of Women in some classical books. An original initiative to debate about stereotypes and Gender roles in society.  They also created some badges of Wonder Women to analyse the social pressure Women face. Other groups guided by the Biology AICLE teacher Danivia Oramas highlighted the role of women in Science. A nice way to recognise merit and talent.  Hope you enjoy our ideas and work😊

Carnival 2023 (IES Adeje)

Carnival 2023 (IES ADEJE)  We were all so eager to celebrate carnival after Covid-19 that these celebrations were really outstanding! Our students and teachers prepared great activities to enjoy altogether. Tutors of 1º Baccalaureate organised activities and a "tenderete" (typical Canarian party to drink, eat and dance).  Students and teachers enjoyed a costume contest, face painting, decoration of masks in AICLE Drawing classes with teacher María Lemus, and history of carnival in the world and in Tenerife.  Hope we can transmit our spirit of celebration looking at the photographs of the day.
