Dear everyone,  We want to share with you the varied sensations colours transmit. Do you feel the same?  

Last 24th December the "Olentzero", a legendary character who has been coming down from the mountains for more than 40 years to visit Tafalla and bring presents to children, came again. This year the "zampanzar" of Tafalla, the giants of the ikastola, "dantzaris" from the Tafalla dance school, Tafalla bagpipers, the "txaranga", the "txistularis" and the Tafalla fanfarre collaborated in the reception procession and walked through the streets. A total of more than 500 people were involved in the visit of this charcoal burner who lives in the Basque mountains. Different Christmas cards from our students

  On these days before Christmas we are surrounded by these typical little stalls where traditional food, clothes, and some other goods are sold. Most of them are local products and you can only find them in our beautiful city (Tafalla, Navarre). For sure it's a very magical way to experience the Christmas spirit. In the Basque country we can also find for example candy shops or shops where they sell piercings, necklaces, and so on.      

 

  Celebrating Christmas (IES ADEJE)🎄🎅 Our co-founder Chiara Chiodini and her students elaborated a creative "Chemis tree" and they kindly offered us to work collaboratively so all the partners played our part.  IES Adeje 2º Baccalaureate English Language students created a "Chemis tree" using idioms of colours.  Please have a look at it 👀 Idioms with colours Chemis tree adding idioms Interactive Chemis tree On the other hand, our 4º ESO students elaborated online digital cards to send them to their classmates, relatives and etwinners!!!  No Violence Against Women (IES ADEJE) Our IES is working to face this problem that concerns the whole society. The Drawing and visual arts,  Spanish, English and Music departments worked with this theme with the aim of making it visible and provoking positive thoughts to avoid verbal and physical violence.  They debated, painted, produced banners, sang, looked for guides and associations that help people in danger.
